New Seaduino Release v1.3

After having the first version of the PCB roll off we noticed a few errors. Change log, parts list and Eagle files found below. Here's a picture of the new board:

Change Log:

  • Pin spacing changed from .75 to .8 inches to fit in a breadboard (whoops....)
  • Re-arragned power breakout. Giving two pins of external un-regulated power and 2 pins after the power has been regulated by the ADP3339.
  • Parts list generated to match parts used. (found below)
  • Changed diodes to signal diodes.
  • Re-arranged power system area to match the new power breakout.

Parts list:

Here's the new Eagle files: SeaDuino

If these boards interest you in anyway I'll be ordering parts for them shortly. Current cost is $23 per board for me. These will require SMD soldering, but I wasn't cruel. Other than the FTDI chip the rest of it should be a piece of cake. If you're interested in a kit or just the board, let me know. If I can generate enough interest to create a substantial price break, I'd be glad to ship out kits at cost over the summer. Just comment or send me an email if you have any questions.
